Appliance pickup (what appliances do we accept)
We accept refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, ranges and more. A dishwasher is not considered a major appliance and cannot be picked up unless it is accompanied by another major appliance.
We accept all makes and models of old and broken appliances no matter what shape they are in. You do not have to clean up your appliances, but any food should not be left in a refrigerator. A refrigerator with a missing compressor cannot be accepted for appliance pickup. Water in a washing machine is okay and understandable. Mold spores should be pointed out if the appliance is infested. This helps to prevent the spread the of germs and bacteria.
Appliance pick up (fees apply in certain situations)
If your appliances are located upstairs or in the basement, then you will have to pay a 25 dollar fee per appliance that needs to be removed. This fee is to help cover the cost of strenuous labor for appliance pickup. Also note that if your home or place of business is located outside of the coverage area of the company or individual who will be handling your appliance pickup, a 25 dollar fee will also be added to help cover the cost of fuel. This fee can change depending on how far your are located from the coverage area.
